Gavin Hellyer Laura's new album comes out next Friday 21/10/16 and I can't wait of course. But, just now I was checking her BC page and I never realised that an album of remixes had been done for this album as well as Swooping Talons. Good. Favorite track: SONG OF REPENTANCE (Replekz).

John Cratchley Laura Cannell's debut album 'Quick Sparrows Over The Black Earth' is simply brilliant...connecting ancient landscapes, sensibilities and instrumentation to modern perceptions in a unique amalgam. Check out the original album before the remixes perhaps and things will fall quickly into place...the remixes might better be called 'responses',I think, and they are equally as inspired as Laura's original. Her album feels like an act of archeology...this an act of architecture.
